Not-for-profit Blueprint welcomed
The St Vincent de Paul Society welcomes the release of the Not-for-profit Sector Development Blueprint, the most comprehensive forward plan for Australia's not-for-profit sector ever developed. This Blueprint outlines strategies to overcome challenges and enhance the sector's critical role in building a more caring and supportive society.
The challenge now is for everyone from parliamentarians to people working in the sector, both paid and voluntary, and the community more widely, to help make this sector stronger and Australia a more caring and supportive society. Find out more here.
Legislate to end child poverty
St Vincent de Paul Society Australia rallied at Parliament House with other charities and not-for-profits to support Anti-Poverty Week, with a particular focus on ending child poverty.

Fee-Free TAFE
The Australian Government partnered with state and territory governments to establish a Skills Agreement to deliver 180,000 Fee-Free TAFE and vocational educational places.
It is prioritised for specific groups and qualifications and courses may differ in each state and territory.
