2024 ACT Election Statement

The St Vincent de Paul Society mission to is create a more just and compassionate society across the Canberra/Goulburn region.

We do this by speaking out on behalf of those who don’t have a voice on issues that impact the people and communities we have served for nearly 100 years in Canberra.

The 2024 Election Statement puts forward our policy positions that we want all political parties to address.
Specifically, the policy recommendations requests of all parties to commit to:

• Deliver more affordable housing
• Invest in homelessness support services
• A welcoming Canberra
• Make energy affordable
• Better justice outcomes for First Nations People
