Volunteer with us

Are you looking to make a difference in your local community?

At St Vincent de Paul Society, volunteers make our good works happen. We have a team of 10,000+ volunteers and members spread out across all points of Victoria – doing a colourful variety of works that all contribute to helping people in need.

Volunteer when you like, however you like. There are many pathways to explore and many good works you can get involved in. You can tailor your volunteer journey to suit you and the areas in life you are passionate about.

Whether you are interested in:

  • Giving a good feed and companionship through our Soup Vans,
  • Helping to promote sustainability and repurposing through our Vinnies Shops,
  • Supporting our community through our Education and Youth programs,
  • Providing hands-on support to people in need through our Call Centres, No Interest Loan Schemes (NILS) or conferences.

However you would like to join, you will ultimately be contributing to helping restore dignity to someone in the community - one meal, a warm jacket, a new school uniform or safe bed at a time.

We have something for you.

We simply couldn't provide these services without our volunteers and the huge contributions they make to provide critical support in their local communities.

Please see below for our current volunteer opportunities and register your interest.
