Congratulations to Gavin Dufty
The St Vincent de Paul Society’s Gavin Dufty has received a Lifetime Achievement award at this year's Financial Review Energy Awards, recognising almost four decades of advocacy for energy consumers. In a profile published on 14 October, Gavin reflects on his 23 years with the Society and his role in making complex energy issues understandable to everyday Australians. He says rooftop solar, home batteries, electric vehicles and smart appliances are giving consumers greater control over their energy use and challenging traditional industry business models.
