A century of service in Thornbury

Peter Hudson, Thornbury Conference President, echoed the sentiments of his fellow members, emphasising the extraordinary nature of this achievement.

"Being part of something bigger that has stood the test of time is truly special. We've remained united by a common purpose, working tirelessly towards the same goal." He added, "Personally, it's an honour to contribute to our conference's history. A century of service, and we're here in the same spirit as those before us."

Central to Thornbury Conference's enduring mission has been our values of dignity and equality. Peter commented on our ethos, stating, "Many of the people we see are regulars, prompting us to reflect on our Society's motto of 'a hand up rather than a handout’.”
