Lotteries support for Vinnies to help vulnerable West Australians

10/03/2022 12:00 PMWe want to say a big thank-you to Community Services Minister Simone McGurk for visiting our Joondalup Support Centre last week and presenting a $1.6 million Lotterywest grant to Vinnies.
The funds will go towards the Vinnies Emergency Assistance and Support program, which provides vulnerable West Australians with immediate financial or material support such as food, help with paying utility bills or rent.
This year, Vinnies WA expects to receive over 40,000 calls, with support to go to over 55,000 people across Western Australia.
