Community Grocery Bus
Vinnies WA, in partnership with the City of Belmont, has launched an innovative pilot program called the Community Grocery Bus. This initiative will support local residents with a dedicated transport service to Foodbank, ensuring that those in need have access to essential food supplies.
Schedule
Departure Time:
Thursdays, fortnightly at 10:00am. First service will run on 25 July 2024.
Pick-Up Location:
215 Wright Street, Cloverdale WA 6105 (car park)
Return Time:
approx. 12.00pm (shoppers can be dropped off at home)
Destination:
Foodbank Warehouse Perth Airport
Eligibility and Assessment
To ensure that the program benefits those who are most in need, an assessment process will be carried out by Vinnies WA. This assessment will evaluate each client's circumstances to determine their eligibility for the Foodbank Vouchers.
