The Dick and Pip Smith Foundation doubles your Vinnies CEO Sleepout donations today

For people wanting to make an extra impact with their donation to the Vinnies CEO Sleepout, the Dick and Pip Smith Foundation is promising to match pledges today.

“We’re very grateful that the Dick and Pip Smith Foundation is pledging to match donations from the public today, up to $50,000.

“For people who want their generosity to have a little extra oomph, today is a very good day to donate to a very good cause,” St Vincent de Paul NSW CEO, Jack de Groot, said.

“People can donate to support individual CEOs and their targets or just the event itself – the Dick and Pip Smith Foundation’s guarantee to match pledges will apply either way.

“Money raised by the Vinnies CEO Sleepout will be used to fund our homelessness and domestic violence services.

“These provide people in need with things like food, clothing, everyday essentials, emergency accommodation, casework, healthcare, and more.

“No matter how big or small, making a donation to the Vinnies CEO Sleepout is a chance to help change someone’s life.

“We can’t keep these services going without both the public’s generous support and that of partners like the Dick and Pip Smith Foundation,” Mr de Groot said.

“Helping Vinnies raise money for its homelessness and domestic violence services is really important.

“They do fantastic work and I’m hopeful the contribution by the Dick and Pip Smith Foundation will not only provide people with the hand up they need but also encourage others to donate,” Dick Smith said.
