Vinnies Bridal Expo returns in 2025 with hundreds of discount dresses for budget-savvy brides

Following the overwhelming success of the 2023 Bridal Expo, Vinnies is excited to announce that the Vinnies Bridal Expo is back in 2025. From 29 March to 4 April, the Vinnies Waverley shop (253-259 Bronte Rd, Waverley) will be transformed into a bridal wonderland, offering an extensive selection of brand-new and pre-loved wedding gowns, suits, bridesmaids’ dresses, formalwear, and accessories including jewellery and shoes—all at unbeatable prices. 

With the cost of living continuing to rise and the average Australian wedding now priced at a staggering $36,000, couples are increasingly seeking ways to keep their special day affordable. More and more brides are saying “yes” to second-hand or donated dresses, turning to Vinnies to find glamorous gowns at a fraction of their original cost. 

A Bridal Expo like no other 

The previous Vinnies Bridal Expo in 2023 was a massive success. Over three days, 674 customers flocked to the store, with 200 dresses sold—helping brides-to-be find their dream dress while also supporting Vinnies’ vital community services. 

For 2025, the expo is set to be even bigger. Over 500 wedding dresses, of which 200 are brand new, have already been gathered through donations to Vinnies, with more arriving daily. This collection of stunning donated gowns will provide brides-to-be with a large choice of pre-loved dresses in one central location.  

Brand-new wedding dresses will be priced at $300, regardless of their original RRP, while pre-loved gowns will start from just $50. Shoppers are encouraged to arrive early to secure the best selection, as stock is strictly first in, best dressed.
