The 2023/24 Financial Year has seen the St Vincent de Paul Society NSW make an immense difference to thousands of people in the face of challenging circumstances.

Some of the major achievements from the 2023/24 Financial Year include:

  • St Vincent de Paul Society NSW members supported close to 100,000 people with food, clothing, household bills, material assistance, advocacy and emotional support;
  • We supported 11,800 people were supported by our Vinnies Services across Homelessness and Housing, Health, and Disability and Inclusion;
  • Our network of Vinnies Vans supported 102,000 people across the state and distributed 95,000 snack and toiletries packs;
  • Years of advocacy by our members helped to deliver $6.1 billion for social housing in the State Budget;
  • 130 million containers were recycled through our Return and Earn depots.

The St Vincent de Paul Society is a lay Catholic member-led organisation that has been assisting people experiencing disadvantage and hardship in NSW for over 140 years. Thank you to all our members, volunteers, employees and supporters who have enabled us to shape a more just and compassionate society for all.
