Our Mission
Our mission is what we aspire to be.
We are a lay Catholic organisation that aspires to live the Gospel message by serving Christ in the poor with love, respect, justice, hope, and joy, and by working to shape a more just and compassionate society.
Our Vision
Our vision is the change we want to see in the world.
We aspire to be recognised as a caring lay Catholic charity offering a hand up to people in need. We do this by respecting their dignity, sharing our hope, and encouraging them to take control of their own destiny.
Our Purpose
Our purpose is why we exist.
We are a faith-based organisation in the Catholic tradition that creates social impact by providing care, compassion, and hope to anyone who needs a ‘hand-up’.
Our Values
Our values align us all in the work we do.
The St Vincent de Paul Society QLD values define what it is to be part of, and contributing to, the Society in your own unique way.
These values are what we stand for each day and drive our ultimate mission to help and advocate for people in need.
