Sense Life Skills Program

We know that establishing life skills early helps with future growth. We're here to help.

Learn More About Our Sense Life Skills Program

Ensuring young adults learn key life skills is vital for their growth into adulthood, and the St Vincent de Paul Society QLD is passionate about making this learning engaging and memorable.

Vinnies Youth Sense Life Skills is one of our youth programs run by volunteers that connects young people aged 13 to 18 years with positive role models. Sense days provide a great opportunity for young people who need support to connect with others, improve their wellbeing, build resilience, and create strong friendships.

Our Sense Life Skills Program aims to give secondary school-aged children practical, social, and emotional life skills by providing:

  • a sense of belonging,
  • social connection and friendships,
  • positive role models to support and guide them, and
  • guidance in goal setting and making decisions.

Our Sense Life Skills days are held once a month and include a range of activities and excursions.
