The Motorcycle Riders' Association of South Australia (MRASA) is holding its annual Toy Run on Sunday, December 8. As usual, toys donated on the day will be collected by Vinnies and distributed through our networks to children in need to bring them some joy this Christmas.

VINNIES CEO SLEEPOUT 2024
The iconic Adelaide Oval hosted the Vinnies CEO Sleepout at Adelaide Oval on Thursday 20 June 2024.
100+ business and community leaders gathered to learn more about the causes and effects of homelessness, and how the funds they’ve worked so hard to raise support people facing or experiencing homelessness.
We were privileged to hear from a guest currently staying at the Vinnies Women’s Crisis Centre about the complex circumstances leading to her spending time sleeping rough, and how the centre has offered her refuge, along with her gorgeous dogs.
Vinnies team members John and Steve shared the story of a father and son who had been rough sleeping for several years, when a chance encounter with John led them to being assisted into the men’s crisis centre, from where Vinnies supported them into long term accommodation.
These are just two of the tens of thousands of examples of personal hardship that Vinnies helps to alleviate each year through compassionate practical support and advocacy. And much of it is made possible through funds raised at this event, plus ongoing partnerships that are born from it.

VINNIES CEO SLEEPOUT 2023
The Vinnies CEO Sleepout came to the home of Tennis SA - The Drive - on Thursday 22 June 2023.
More than 100 business and community leaders gathered to discover more about the causes and impacts of homelessness and what Vinnies is doing to address this growing and devastating issue, and to sleep out in wintry conditions to get just a glimpse of what some people experiencing homelessness face every night.
In the lead-up to the event, participants ask their families, friends and colleagues to sponsor their participation, with more than $680,000 raised as at 30 June 2023 to support Vinnies' homelessness services.
This is an incredible amount, especially given the current financial climate, and we are very grateful to everyone who contributed in some way - whether by sleeping out for one night; sponsoring a participant; providing auction prizes or services; or volunteering. At Vinnies, every dollar really does make a difference.
