Apply for Social Housing

In New South Wales:

You can apply for Social Housing (i.e. public housing and/or community housing) through Housing Pathways online or via phone.

The online form is the quickest and simplest way to apply for housing assistance. You just need an email account.

You can also apply over the phone. Call the Housing Contact Centre on 1800 422 322, Monday to Friday, between 9 and 5pm to complete your form.

In South Australia:

You can apply for all types of public and community housing you are eligible for, by registering through your Housing Connect account.

Alternatively, you can complete the Register for Housing Form and return it along with the necessary supporting documentation to Housing SA.

In the Australian Capital Territory:

You can apply for Social Housing Assistance by completing and submitting the ACT Government’s Registration to Apply for Social Housing Assistance Form.

Alternatively, you can contact the ACT Government’s Customer Service Team or pick up an application kit in-person or ask to have one mailed to you.
