We have opportunities available both during and after business hours. Many volunteering positions are ongoing, but short-term opportunities are also available.

Volunteering with any of our Vinnies Services or Programs, offers a variety of opportunities to suit a whole range of diverse skills. By volunteering, you will be making a difference for those in need. For some Vinnies volunteers, this is a chance to give something back to the community, to use their skills and experience to make a difference in the lives of people who need assistance the most. For others, it is a chance to develop new skills and experience in a supportive environment.

St Vincent de Paul Society Canberra/Goulburn (Vinnies) has a large number of volunteer applications and cannot guarantee to place volunteers in their service of choice but will always recognise your rights as a volunteer.
Volunteer roles are offered to prospective applicants on their interest, knowledge, skills, and availability relevant to the role and to the aims of the organisations.

Background checks may also include reference checks.
