Vinnies Canberra/Goulburn has a range of youth programs to give young people a place of belonging and support.
We support children from a migrant or refugee background to feel connected, safe, valued and empowered.
The St Nicholas’ Young Carers Program aims to provide a place of belonging for young people (aged 9-17 years) who have a caring role in their family, offering a place to connect with others who share relatable life experiences and engage with positive adult role models.
The St Joseph the Carpenter Youth Program offers respite and recreation for children (aged 6 - 12 years) whose childhood is impacted by circumstances beyond their control.
The VINES program offers a strong network of support for young people aged between 13 and 15 years.
Mini Vinnies empowers primary school students to become advocates within their school and local community by putting Vinnies Values into action. They meet regularly to learn about social justice issues, develop leadership skills and engage with the local community.
