Flood Relief

The Vinnies NSW Flood Appeal has raised $3 million to date and Vinnies has provided funding from our own reserves to ensure we can help as many people as we can.

We have distributed $3.278 million in direct financial assistance to people worst affected by the floods.

In order to ensure we can stay with the Northern Rivers community during their longer-term recovery, we have moved away from our significant efforts in direct financial grants to providing direct assistance with food, water, clothing, and other material assistance to people impacted by the floods. Vinnies will also be distributing generators, tents, sleeping bags, mobile charging stations, towels, and fuel cards in the coming days.
