Vinnies provides accommodation services to individuals and families at risk of homelessness or experiencing homelessness. Different eligibility criteria apply across our accommodation types.

A sense of community
More than a roof
To develop the skills and experience of managing a home and being a good neighbour, residents are subject to regular inspections. We host community BBQ's and resident meetings that help to promote an inclusive and friendly atmosphere. Our Parish Conferences volunteer their time to assist residents in meeting basic needs and enhancing their quality of life.
Vinnies offer referrals to other specialist support services such as health, financial, employment or legal services and give opportunities to develop skills that improve the likelihood of securing long term, independent and stable accommodation/housing.

BECOME A VOLUNTEER
Vinnies volunteers host programs to engage with companions. Come along to Conference BBQs, or work with staff and volunteers to offer a program facilitating your gift or service interests. We are always looking for new ways to support our companions.
