Thanks to generous donors Vinnies have been supporting our Territory since 1949 - fighting to end poverty and injustice for the vulnerable and disadvantaged members in our community.
For a comprehensive overview of our work, please refer to our latest annual reports.
Once you have taken care of your own family, a gift in your Will to Vinnies will let your legacy live on through our good works.
Making or updating a Will doesn't have to be complicated. Our team is happy to take you through any questions you have.
“I have included a gift in my Will to Vinnies because, as a long-time volunteer, I have seen first-hand the good work they do. I have a roof over my head, food to eat, and a warm bed to climb into at the end of each day. I choose to show my gratitude and help Vinnies to continue their good work by way of a gift in my Will. Together we can help change lives not only now but for generations to come.”

“Including a bequest in my will is just one small way in which I can assist those Australians who are less fortunate and greatly disadvantaged by their circumstances,” Barry says.
“I get the magazine from Vinnies as a donor, and I see what they do at the Matthew Talbot Hostel and the people there, and the women who’ve been sleeping in cars and all that sort of thing, and I think oh, gosh, you know, if I can help in some way," says Doreen.
During his lifetime Vince worked tirelessly for the community, which involved volunteering at the Mathew Talbot Hostel, visiting inmates at Long Bay Gaol, making hospital and home visits to the sick and needy, and organising and distributing Christmas hampers for poor families and pensioners. His generous donation means his legacy lives on in the work done by the Society.
