How to donate

TIP: the most important thing to remember is to donate items that are clean and in working order

• Drop off into the centre during the opening hours of your local Vinnies.
• If provided, leave in the donation bins outside of opening hours.
• Any donations left outside after hours often become unsalable due to exposure to the elements or ransacking.

What CAN you donate?

Vinnies is always in need of the following items:

• Men’s clothing
• Women’s clothing
• Children’s clothing
• Manchester
• Shoes
• Handbags
• Hats
• Accessories
• Children’s toys (complete)
• Board games (complete)
• Books
• DVDs
• Homewares
• Bric-a-brac
• Funky/Retro items

What you CAN donate to help people in need of Emergency Relief?

People find our programs with nothing, help us fill houses and make homes with:

• Beds
• Mattresses
• Tables and Chairs
• Fridges
• Washing Machines
• Couches

What CAN'T you donate?

Due to some state/territory laws and WHS restrictions we are unable to accept some items, including:

• Baby car seats, prams or cots
• Electrical items
• Damaged or broken items
