Community Programs and Events

At SVdP Society Housing, we strive to do everything we can to connect you to opportunity and shape our services to ensure we can enhance your lived experience, within your local community.

This includes working in close partnership with Vinnies Support Services and SVdP Society Conference members to provide community development opportunities that foster the development of safe, engaged and supportive communities.

The relationship we have with the St Vincent de Paul Society and the support we receive from SVdP Society Conference members and volunteers, is in fact, one of the things that makes us so unique.

SVdP Society members are passionate about helping people in need in their local community. Not only do they serve their local community and provide tenants with opportunities to engage with others (e.g. through barbecues, morning and afternoon teas, community gardens, celebrations etc), they are also available to support people in their homes and communities, providing friendship and a listening ear.
