The project team has focussed on the experience of Society Members who have taken on leadership roles; drawing on those experiences to generate a list of ideas that would have helped those Society Members. This list includes the need for helpful documentation and face-to-face training.
The project team is resolute that one version of documents related to leadership is necessary, not multiple different versions. These documents are to support the local mentoring and buddying that is the most important element of leadership training.
Exploration of options for a National Leadership Program is occurring.
A generic position description for Conference Presidents is being drafted.
